Richard and Phyllis Michell started the American Revival Company in 1974 on John Steinbeck's famous Cannery Row. A few years later, Richard Michell, Jr., joined the firm. And so it goes that the store became a landmark Monterey family business.
Goodies connected to the Three Stooges are found at the American Revival. Here Moe, Larry, and Curly are hitchhiking their way to the store. We have a great walk-in, brick and wood store at 711 Cannery Row, Monterey, California.
For the past thirty years, The American Revival Company has stressed honesty and integrity. They have provided a joyous experience, a "visual overload" for thousands of visitors from all over the world. According to our international customers, the store is one of the most unique in the world.

The retail store is about 1000 square feet, crammed with souvenirs, antiques, and delightful collectibles, proving the point that dynamite (and fun) often comes in small packages.

 We're on Cannery Row in Monterey, California, United States of America, Planet Earth. 

We are about 60 feet west of the corner of Prescott Avenue and Cannery Row in the big, red Monterey Canning Company Building.

We are around the corner from Starbuck's, and across the street from Sly McFly's (some of the best music anywhere!), and really, really close to a Ben & Jerry's ice cream joint.

This is the King, Elvis the Pelvis, singing and gyrating on stage in a typical Elvis pose. It is not true that Elvis never existed, and that the man pictured as him was really Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones.


This is a well-known image of Uncle Sam, dressed in the United States' flag's stars and stripes. Uncle Sam is looking up, and rolling up his left sleeve, ready to do battle for Truth, Justice, and The American Way. Superman also fights for those three prizes, joining Uncle Sam in the neverending battle against evil.
